Tottenham interested in Valencia winger Ferran Torres
Valencia youngster Ferran Torres is one of the brightest talents in the Spanish league. The 19-year-old has been a part of the senior Valencia side for three years and plays mostly down the right.
The Spanish youngster is a regular for Los Che and the Guardian reports that Tottenham are interested in the 19-year-old.
Torres is also being linked with Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona and Liverpool. He could leave the club for a fee of £17m (h/t Guardian).
Tottenham to sign another young winger?
Tottenham could do with some new faces after a tough campaign. We lost the previous game to Liverpool and need to get a win against Everton this weekend. Most of our players have been below par this season, including our new signings.
Jack Clarke joined us in the summer but the youngster was sent back on loan to former club Leeds United. The Englishman has struggled for regular starts under Marcelo Bielsa and it will be interesting to see if he is brought back in January.
Meanwhile, Torres does have a lot of first-team experience and could grow under Mauricio Pochettino. However, the Argentine doesn’t usually make moves in winter windows and there is no guarantee that the Valencia starlet would hit the ground running at Tottenham.
