Bruno Fernandes opens up about his failed Tottenham Hotspur transfer.

Sporting Lisbon want between €60m and €70m for Bruno Fernandes

Tottenham are still interested in Bruno Fernandes after failing to land the Portuguese star in the summer, according to A Bola (h/t Football.london).

The 25-year-old helped his national side win the inaugural UEFA Nations League tournament last year and has started this season in decent form. The midfielder has seven goals and six assists in all competitions for Sporting Lisbon this season.

Fernandes bagged 20 goals and 13 assists in the league last season and is capable of playing in several attacking positions.

The report claims that Tottenham could move for the 25-year-old if Christian Eriksen leaves in the January window. The Dane is out of a contract at the end of the season and has only scored one goal this season.

Sporting name their price for Fernandes

Sporting are willing to negotiate a move for Fernandes if a club meets their asking price. The report claims that Sporting want between €60m and €70m for the 25-year-old, and it will be interesting to see if we make a move in January. Giovani Lo Celso was signed in the summer but the Argentine is yet to start for us due to injuries.
