Juventus could make January move for Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen
Jose Mourinho’s first game in charge of Tottenham went pretty well as we won 3-2 against West Ham.
In all honesty, we were much the better side for most of the game and raced to a 3-0 lead. Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Harry Kane got the goals before the Hammers made their comeback.
Mourinho did make some changes in the team with Toby Alderweireld back in the defence.
The Belgian is a free agent at the end of the season, but he isn’t the only one. Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen can also leave for nothing in the summer.
Vertonghen wasn’t even on the bench for this clash, however, Eriksen was brought on by Mou for the last 10 minutes or so.
Corriere dello Sport (h/t Calciomercato) claims that Mourinho will not stand in the way of players who don’t want play for the club, and Eriksen could be on his way out.
The report claims that Juventus are ready to make a move for the Danish international.
Juve could make a move in January or wait till the summer when the 27-year-old is a free agent (h/t Calciomercato).
Big months ahead for Eriksen
The Dane has struggled for form this season and it will be interesting to see how he does under the new manager.
Spurs have some big games coming up and Mou has a month or so to decide on who all are with him for this project.
