Nathan Ferguson could snub Premier League interest for move abroad
West Bromwich Albion are concerned that rising defender Nathan Ferguson could leave for a foreign club in the summer, according to the Sun.
The 19-year-old has impressed as the Baggies’ left-back this season, though he can play on the right too.
The English defender can sign a pre-contract with a foreign club and leave for nothing, however, Tottenham are keen on the teen (h/t Sun).
Crystal Palace are also interested in the rising star and the youngster could be available for a cut-price deal in January (h/t Sun).
Ferguson has played 13 games this season for the Baggies and has one goal and an assist to his name.
Tottenham have had their right-back problems this season, and it will be interesting to see what happens with Ferguson in the winter window.
Mourinho has tough choices to make
Jose Mourinho started his Spurs career with a win over West Ham United, but the Portuguese has some tough decisions to make.
Serge Aurier, Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters are the right-back options currently. However, none of them have impressed with consistent performances.
Ferguson could be a smart signing for the future, but Mourinho will have his own visions for this side.
