With Kenny’s loan set to run until the summer, he looks set to remain in Germany and any transfer will have to wait until the end of the season.
Everton may be open to selling the youngster with Djibril Sidibe continuing to impress at right-back.
Arsenal already have Hector Bellerin and Ainsley Maitland-Niles at the club whereas Tottenham have the unreliable Serge Aurier as the current first-choice under Mourinho.
With Kenny more likely to get the playing time he desires more readily at Spurs, Tottenham can gain a march on their rival to the 22-year-old’s signing.
Being an Englishman, Kenny should also add to Spurs’ homegrown quota of players.
