Moussa Sissoko takes to the pitch as he continues to recover from injury
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has stepped up his efforts as he continues his recovery from injury.
The 30-year old French international has been on the sidelines since he damaged the ligament on his right knee in the 1-0 defeat to Southampton on New Year’s Day.
He posted a story on Instagram showcasing a return to the training pitch. The midfielder looked to be in good nick and was able to comfortably move around with the ball.

Although not renowned for his goalscoring ability or his skill to create chances, Spurs have missed the midfielder’s energy and drive in the midfield. Far too often in his absence, the Tottenham midfield has failed to exert authority over the game.
Sissoko was not expected to be back until early April. This video will come as good to news to fans. Given our abject performance against Chelsea, Jose Mourinho will also breathe a sigh of relief at the midfielder’s progress. The Tottenham boss has had to deal with a number of injuries, with Sissoko being one of them.

Tottenham are currently four points off a Champions League spot. With Sissoko’s return nearing, he can add impetus to our midfield as we push for the fourth spot. Hopefully, we stay in touching distance by then.
