Jose Mourinho teams up with Wenger to send coronavirus message
Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger were fierce rivals during their time at Chelsea and Arsenal respectively. The Portuguese’s appointment at Old Trafford did little to diminish their feud as the pair constantly had a go at each other.
With the world reeling from the coronavirus pandemic, the pair have put their old rivalries aside to come up with ‘five key tactics’ for the public to battle the deadly virus.
It was a part of the initiative taken up by FIFA to support WHO in their attempt to spread awareness to address the spread of the disease. FIFA’s campaign is led by six world-renowned coaches, who request everyone across the world to follow five key tactics that tackle the spread of the disease.

Wenger, now the FIFA Chief of Global Football Development, stressed the seriousness of the issue and urged people to put health first. He also called upon everyone to follow the five tactics at all times.
“We all know the situation with the coronavirus is a serious one, and we need to put health first”
Mourinho joined in and asked people to maintain at least one metre distance from peope who cough or sneeze. He stressed the need to do so in order to avoid breathing in droplets expelled by them.
“In terms of social interaction, take a step back. Stay one-meter distance minimum from everyone that coughs or sneezes.”
Wenger and Mourinho were also joined by former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine urged people to regularly wash their hands, preferably with an alcohol-based hand solution.
