Harry Kane sends heartwarming message to NHS staff

Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane has taken to Twitter to thank two Spurs supporting NHS staff members for their continued efforts in tackling the coronavirus pandemic.

The virus has led to a lockdown in the UK. It is a busy time for staff working for the NHS as they try to get a grip on the situation. The country came together on Thursday night in a collective round of applause for the workforce as a way of expressing gratitude for their selfless work.

Kane took to social media to thank Spurs fans Domicin Calvan, an acute medical consultant. Calvan wore his Spurs jersey under his scrubs as a sign of good luck. This gesture was not lost on our ace striker who expressed his admiration for the work the medical practitioners do.

“A bit of that applause was definitely for you. Keep up the amazing work” he tweeted.

He also expressed his thanks to NHS staff member Faye Louise Hickey, who also posed in her Spurs jersey to bring her luck.

“You and the rest of the NHS staff are doing incredible work.”

Kane also encouraged children to get in touch with their drawings of doctors, nurses, and ambulances. This is being done in order to show their appreciation for the work of the organization at this difficult time.
