Tottenham players engage in virtual training from their homes
The Premier League has currently been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. Given that there is a nation-wide lockdown enforced to tackle the spread of the virus, clubs have had to cancel training as well. Tottenham, though, have found a way to carry on with the players’ training regimes.
Last week, The Sun had reported that Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho would be starting virtual training sessions via video-link for his players from Monday.
And the virtual training sessions are already underway, with the club posting a video of a number of our star players participating in such sessions on Twitter.

A number of our stars like captain Hugo Lloris, Dele Alli, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, Lucas Moura, Ben Davies and Juan Foyth, among others, can be seen engaged in training in the video.
Mourinho and his coaching staff have taken the right step in engaging the players in virtual training sessions. With the lockdown in place, the training ensures that our players stay in shape and are ready to hit the ground running when the season resumes.

When the season was suspended, Tottenham’s form was on a decline. The club had been eliminated from the Champions League and the FA Cup, while sitting eighth in the Premier League table.
While it is still unclear as to when the season will resume, there is a chance that we might have our injured stars like Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko back on the field by then (h/t Football.London). This would boost our hopes for a top-four finish.
