Tottenham fans react to video of Giovani Lo Celso’s best moments
Tottenham Hotspur fans have been marveling over footage showing some of the best moments of midfield sensation Giovani Lo Celso at the club.
Lo Celso arrived at Tottenham last summer initially on loan from Spanish La Liga club Real Betis. The 23-year-old made a slow start to life at our club, with a hip injury hampering his involvement.
Lo Celso has become a regular in the team after Jose Mourinho’s arrival in November. The Argentine has made such an impression on our new manager, that the club signed him on a permanent deal in January for a fee of £27.2m, with his contract running till 2023.
This was done in part to offset the departure of Christian Eriksen, who left for Inter Milan.
So far in his debut season in England, Lo Celso has made 28 appearances in all competitions. The Argentine international has scored two goals and set up one more, although he is yet to score or assist a goal in the Premier League.
While Lo Celso might not have scored a goal in the Premier League, the 23-year-old has shown plenty of glimpses of his quality. And the footage posted on social media by Tottenham fan Sandro consists some of these moments along with the Argentine’s goals against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League and Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.
