Real Madrid willing to part with two stars to sign Harry Kane
Spanish giants Real Madrid are willing to offer Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez in hopes of signing Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane, according to Mundo Deportivo (h/t Express).
Real are trying to land Kane after the Englishman indicated that a lack of trophies could see him leave Spurs (h/t Express).
Kane is one of the best forwards in the world but is yet to lift silverware with Spurs. We won’t be winning any trophies this season too and are in danger of missing out on Champions League football as well.
Real are looking to exploit the current situation and want to send Bale back to Spurs with along Rodriguez, in a player plus cash deal for Bale (h/t Express).
Both players have had their problems at the Santiago Bernabeu. Bale hasn’t been able to convince the fans, even though he has helped them to several trophies.
Rodriguez, for his part, struggled to become a regular starter after his big-money move from Monaco. The Colombian was at Bayern Munich on loan for two seasons but returned to Spain.
A tough situation for Spurs
Kane, like every top footballer, wants to win silverware but we are in no position to do that currently.
Tottenham have to make some big moves to prove that we want to build the project, but keeping hold of top talent isn’t easy.
We have let go the likes of Dimitar Berbatov, Luka Modric and Bale in the past, and it will be interesting to see what happens with Kane.
Landing Bale and Rodriguez isn’t a bad deal but neither of them can replace what Kane brings to the team.
Jose Mourinho would have a major problem in finding another quality striker like Kane, even though Bale and Rodriguez would provide a lot of attacking threat to the side.

We need to keep Kane and build a team around him. However, we also need to start winning trophies to ensure our top talents stay.
