Jose Mourinho mocks Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris’ new look
In a light-hearted moment, Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has poked fun at the new haircut of club captain Hugo Lloris (h/t Football.london).
Lloris has followed in the footsteps of teammate Jan Vertonghen and has shaved his head during the lockdown. Always the keen observer, Mourinho happened to notice his captain’s new look during the team’s virtual training session.
The Portuguese then took a cheeky dig at the Frenchman, which drew plenty of laughter from our captain (h/t Football.london).
“Hugo, two weeks and you will be fine.”
Prior to reacting to Lloris’ new look, Mourinho had also noticed how quickly Vertonghen’s hair had grown after he too had shaved his head a couple of weeks ago (h/t Football.london).
“Jan, your hair is growing back a lot. Have you got a barber?”
The manager himself isn’t new to shaved heads after having sported a similar look this past February. Jose, though, had then claimed that he wasn’t going for that look, but had fallen asleep in the barber’s chair.
"Jan your hair is growing a lot."
"Hugo, two weeks and you'll be fine."

It isn’t always that we get to see Mourinho in a light-hearted, banter mood. As far as Lloris is concerned, his hair should grow back by the time Premier League returns to action.
However, Lloris’ long-term future at the club is under question, as the Frenchman has made a string of high-profile errors this season. The club are already believed to be looking at replacements for our veteran custodian.
Hopefully, the captain rediscovers his form when the season resumes and leads us to a top-four finish in the Premier League.
