Tottenham goalkeepers Michel Vorm and Jonathan De Bie on Anderlecht radar
According to a report from Het Nieuwsblad (h/t Football.london), Belgian giants Anderlecht are keen on signing Tottenham goalkeepers Michel Vorm and Jonathan De Bie in the summer.
Vorm has been with our club since 2014, having signed from Swansea City. The Dutch shot-stopper was released by our club last summer, but was re-signed in October 2019 after an injury to Hugo Lloris.
The 36-year-old has been backup to the Frenchman throughout his time at Tottenham. Till date, he has made just 48 appearances for our club, keeping 17 clean sheets. Vorm’s contract is set to expiry at the end of the season.
Jonathan De Bie, on the other hand, is a member of our U-23 side. The 19-year-old has been with the club since 2016, having signed from Belgian side KV Mechelen. In the ongoing season, De Bie has featured 8 times in all competitions without keeping a clean sheet. Moreover, he has conceded 17 goals.
Like Vorm, De Bie’s contract is also set to expire at the end of the 2019/20 season. And both are now wanted by Anderlecht (h/t Football.london).

It looks our entire goalkeeping department is set for an overhaul this summer. With question marks over the longevity of captain Lloris, there have been reports of club wanting to bring in a replacement for the Frenchman.
And now, Vorm and De Bie are also set to be on their way out of the club, once their contracts expire at the end of the season. The upcoming summer transfer window will be a pivotal one for Jose Mourinho and Tottenham.
