Twitter reacts to leak showcasing Tottenham Hotspur new pre-match shirt
According to Football.london, images of the new Tottenham Hotspur pre-match shirt have been leaked online by Footyheadlines.com.
As with any football club, Spurs Jose Mourinho’s side will don the shirt prior to kick-off while warming up. The design incorporates three shades, namely dark blue, black and yellow into its colour palette.
It is dark blue at the top with a yellow trim before slowly turning black with a bright, pleasing set of yellow stripes.
The Spurs crest is represented in bright yellow, as is the Nike logo on the left and right chest area respectively.
In terms of a template, the design is slightly similar to the ones that were leaked for both Barcelona and Inter Milan. The aesthetic feel, however, appears to be the same.
They are in a way reminiscent of the Umbro kits won by Tottenham in the 1994-95 season for away fixtures. They had a similar abstract pattern of graphics.
Tottenham signed a 15-year-deal with Nike in 2018 which sees the global sporting giants manufacture the club’s kit until 2033. It is one of the longest ever deals signed by Nike with a football club in their history. (h/t The Sun)
The leaked picture was however met pleasant surprise by a number of fans who clearly feel that this design is better than the previously leaked ideas. To say some of the earlier designs were nothing short of scandalous would be an understatement. We take a look at some of the tweets below.

Why do the training and the pre match shirts always look better than the home and away jerseys?
