Harry Kane is fit and raring to go as PL return nears

According to the Express, an Instagram post by Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has hinted at him returning to full fitness ahead of the season resuming on June 17.

It will come as a boost for Spurs fans all over the globe who have seen us struggle without our ace since the new year. The English captain looked set to miss the season after injuring his hamstring in January. However, the break has given him enough time to recover and return to contention.

With nine games to go, the return of Kane will give us a much-needed advantage in the race for the fourth spot.

Kane has been seen training with his teammates since clubs returned to the field last month. He has looked sharp and seems up for the task as we face a crucial run of games.

The 26-year-old recently declared himself to be “fully fit”. However, he admitted it will take a while to get through his paces in training after being out for almost six months. (h/t Express)

The forward was in excellent form as he scored a whopping 17 goals and two assists in 25 appearances across all competitions before being sidelined. (h/t Transfermarkt)

Ironically, he will return to competitive action against Manchester United. The club he has been linked to in the past few months. It would be poetic indeed if he scored the winner in the clash.

Given that United are also in the race for the fourth spot, it is a huge game for both clubs. Tottenham can rise as high as sixth with a win.
