Tottenham are interested in Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic
According to FussballTransfers (h/t MEN), Tottenham are closely monitoring the situation of Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, who is currently away on loan Bayern Munich.
Since joining the German outfit, Perisic has made 28 appearances across all competitions. The Croatian has produced a return of 6 goals and 8 assists in the process.
Bayern Munich had the chance to sign the Croatian international on a permanent transfer for a fee of €20m. However, they have let that opportunity pass, as they are unwilling to pay more than €10m. Inter, though, want at least €15m for the 31-year-old. This has piqued the interest of Tottenham, along with Manchester United. (h/t MEN)
Our manager, Jose Mourinho, is a known admirer of the veteran winger and had tried to sign him during his time at Manchester United. (h/t Football.london)
The transfer update got the Tottenham fans talking on social media. And here we compile some of the reactions from the club’s supporters to the possibility of us signing Perisic this summer.

Unnecessary signing. We’re overloaded in midfield although we need a DM and offload 2-3.

At 31, Perisic doesn’t have a lot of years left in him. However, as a short-term fix he would be a handy addition. But strengthening the wide areas shouldn’t be a top priority for Mourinho & co. at the moment. So, it’ll be interesting to see if the club does go after the Croatian.
