Leeds United ‘about to close’ loan deal for Tottenham starlet Juan Foyth
According to a report from Argentine publication Ole via Sport Witness (h/t Football.london), Leeds United are set to ‘close the deal’ on the loan signing of Tottenham defender Juan Foyth for the 2020/21 campaign.
Foyth joined Tottenham from Argentine outfit Estudiantes in the summer of 2017. But the youngster hasn’t been able to establish himself as a regular in the first-team at the club.
Till date, he has featured just 32 times at the first-team level and has hardly got a look-in under new manager Jose Mourinho. Indeed, the last time Foyth took the field for Tottenham was in December against Norwich City.
Speculations over his future have been doing the rounds for quite a while now, with reports of a loan move to Leeds United intensifying over the last week.
And now, according to the aforementioned report, Foyth is on the verge of signing for Leeds, where he will link up with fellow Argentine Marcelo Bielsa and look to get his career back on track. The update got a lot of Tottenham fans talking on social media. And here are some of the supporters’ reactions on this news.

I agree. He is a talented player who needs a run of games. I think he will come back and be a star.

Are they actually gonna play him or just bench him like Clarke..

That’s good, would rather a loan him out instead of selling him already.
