Leeds United planning to outbid Tottenham for Eberechi Eze
According to a report from The Sun, newly-promoted Premier League club Leeds United are ready to outbid Tottenham Hotspur as they eye a summer swoop for QPR attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze.
Having started out at the academy of our rivals Arsenal, the youngster spent time with Fulham, Reading and Millwall, before joining QPR in 2017.
After a loan spell away at Wycombe Wanderers, Eze became a regular in the first-team at Loftus Road. The youngster has enjoyed a sensational 2019/20 campaign, finishing with a more than impressive return of 14 goals and 8 assists in 46 matches in the Championship.
The 22-year-old Eze has been on the radars of Tottenham for a while now. It has been even claimed that manager Jose Mourinho is intent on capturing the signing of the 22-year-old Englishman.
However, we will now have to battle it out against Leeds United for the signing of the attacking midfielder. The Whites are back in the Premier League after 16 years, having won the EFL Championship. (h/t The Sun)
And they are keen on strengthening the squad for the challenge that lies ahead, with Eze being seen as a key transfer target. So much so that they are ready to outbid Tottenham and any other potential suitor for the QPR ace in the summer. (h/t The Sun)

Eze’s contract with QPR is set to expire in less than a year. Considering that and the interest he is attracting, there is a very good chance that the 22-year-old could be on his way out in the summer.
However, with Leeds now entering the race, it remains to be seen if we are able to land the midfielder.
