Tottenham Hotspur fans react on Twitter as reading are beaten in a pre-season friendly
Tottenham Hotspur look to be in top form as they faced Reading FC in a pre-season friendly ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
Jose Mourinho’s side ran out 4-1 winners with the players looking in top form. An Omar Richards own goal gave the home side the lead in the seventh minute.
Midfield ace Dele Alli doubled the score before Heung-Min Son scored the third. The North Londoners went into the break with a thoroughly deserved lead.

Erik Lamela curled in a free-kick to make it 4-0 in the second half. Reading did manage to dampen the party mood with a late strike to make the scoreline look more respectable.
Spurs will look to improve on their sixth-placed finish last season. We kick off our Premier League campaign at home against Everton on 12 September.
Fans were glad about today’s result and took to Twitter to react. We take a look at a few of them below.
