Leeds United consider move for Juan Foyth
According to Sportslens (h/t Leeds Live), newly-promoted Premier League club Leeds United are pondering over a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth, who could be sold this summer.
The 22-year-old has been at Tottenham since 2017, having joined from Argentine club Estudiantes. However, he has struggled to establish himself at the first-team level at the club.

Despite having been at the club for over three years now, he has made just 32 senior appearances so far. Only seven of those came in the season gone by.
Foyth was rarely used by Jose Mourinho once he took over from Mauricio Pochettino in November last year. While injuries did play a part in that, the Portuguese tactician did not seem to favour the 22-year-old defender much, even when he was fit and available.
And, it is now being claimed that Tottenham are ready to listen to offers for the 22-year-old this summer. This has given Leeds United the green light to make a move for the Argentine. (h/t Leeds Live)
The Whites have been monitoring Foyth for some time now. And while they have strengthened their defence with the transfer of Robin Koch – a player who was also linked to Spurs – they could be tempted to make an attempt to land Foyth this summer. (h/t Leeds Live)

Things have just not gone Foyth’s way during his three-year stint at Tottenham. While there is plenty of potential, injuries and a lack of faith from the manager’s part has meant he has struggled to live up to the promise.
Considering that he isn’t a major part of plans and the club’s need to generate transfer funds, it might be the best for Tottenham to allow Foyth to join Leeds.
