Harry Kane determined to end trophy wait in 2020/21
As reported by the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane is intent on ending the club’s trophy drought in the upcoming 2020/21 season.
A product of Tottenham’s academy, Kane has grown into one of the most prolific strikers in Europe. The England captain racked up 24 goals in the 2019/20 campaign despite spending a significant chunk of the season out injured.
One of the best centre-forwards in the game, the 27-year-old has won the Premier League Golden Boot on multiple occasions in his career. However, he is yet to win a major trophy in his career. And, that will be his main focus heading into the new season. (h/t Daily Mail)
“Obviously it’s great scoring goals and winning Golden Boots but, as I’ve said before, there would be no better feeling than lifting a trophy with my team-mates. That’s the ultimate goal. That’s what I’ll try to do and hopefully this year can be a big year for club and country.”
Kane will have plenty of opportunities to bring an end to the silverware drought this season. Tottenham will be competing in four competitions this term – the Premier League, the UEFA Europa League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
The 27-year-old will also be leading the England national team into the rearranged UEFA Euro 2020 next summer.

Tottenham begin their 2019/20 campaign with a home game against Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton outfit this Sunday. A winning start would set the tone perfectly for a strong campaign.
The 27-year-old has previously spoken about his desire to win trophies and how he might leave the club in order to achieve those dreams. So, in many ways this could be a make or break season for him and Tottenham.
