Tottenham offered Arkadiusz Milik after AS Roma deal collapses
According to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik after his transfer to AS Roma fell through.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur for a while now. However, it was claimed that the striker was heading to AS Roma, after a deal had been agreed between the two clubs.
But, as per the latest update from Romano, Milik’s transfer to AS Roma is off. And, the striker is now being offered to Tottenham Hotspur.

Talks on with Inter to sign Skriniar but Spurs will not bid for €60m. Rubén Dias [Benfica] is another option ⚪️— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) September 22, 2020
It is no secret that Tottenham Hotspur are in the market for a new striker. As things stand, manager Jose Mourinho has Harry Kane as his only option for the centre-forward role. And going through the entirety of the season as it is would be detrimental to our hopes of silverware and a top four finish.
Milik, to that end, would be a fine addition to the ranks. The 26-year-old has plenty of experience at the highest level and has been a fairly consistent performer for Napoli, since joining in 2016. He scored 14 goals in 35 matches across all competitions last season.
Add to it, the fact that he is in the final year of his contract would mean he is likely to be available for an affordable transfer fee for the club.

It has been quite an impressive transfer window for Tottenham up until this point. However, not bringing in a new striker could undo all the good work done so far. Hopefully, Daniel Levy & co. snap up the chance to land Milik and get the deal over the line soon.
