Harry Kane shuts down Piers Morgan after he asks Tottenham ace to rejoin Arsenal
As reported by the Metro, Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane has shot down Arsenal supporter Piers Morgan’s cheeky question about rejoining the Gunners.
It is no secret that Kane spent a few of his formative years at the Arsenal academy before switching to Tottenham youth setup.
And Morgan, who happens to be an avid Arsenal supporter, brought up the subject while interviewing the England captain on ITV’s Good Morning Britain show on Tuesday. Kane, though, was in his elements, as he hit Morgan back with a fine retort. (h/t Metro)
“Well, I played for Arsenal when I was younger and unfortunately for them they let me go. I have been at Tottenham since I was 11 years old and I’m reaping the rewards of that now.”
Morgan then cheekily asked Kane if he was ‘itching to go back to his roots’. And the 27-year-old shot him down, claiming that he was very happy where he is. (h/t Metro)
“Absolutely not, no. [Tottenham are] in a good spot at the moment so I am happy.”

Kane has been with Tottenham since he was eleven years of age. The ace centre-forward has grown into one of the best in his positions in the world with us, scaling great heights with the first-team.
Recently, Kane scored his 200th goal for us in the Europa League clash against Ludogorets. That was followed by his 150th Premier League goal in the 1-0 win against West Bromwich Albion just before the international break.
Kane may have spent time at the rivals’ academy and may have been pictured in their kit back then but he is and will remain one of our own.
