Tottenham fans react as Tanguy Ndombele puts up a brilliant display against Ludogorets
Tanguy Ndombele was the man of the night for Tottenham Hotspur against Ludogorents in the Europa League.
The French star breezed through the Bulgarian midfield with ease and was making to a ballerina at times. His nimble touch and drives forward played a key part in our 4-0 win on the night.
He played a key role in the build-up to our first two goals, both of which were scored by Carlos Vinicius. The brace sent us into the break comfortably in hold of the game.
The Frenchman endured a difficult debut season. Issues with Jose Mourinho did not help matters either as he struggled on and off the field.
He appears to have put all that behind him as he continues to put in one impressive performance after the other. Ndombele was taken off on the hour mark, perhaps with an eye on this weekend’s clash against Chelsea.
If that is the case, it is a testament to his newfound importance at the club. Following the game, Ndombele paid his respects to Diego Maradona on Twitter. His performance on the night was the best way to honour the legendary Argentine’s memory.

Ndombele is our new Eriksen in the sense that everything goes through him. He makes the game tick and everyone looks for him to get us moving up the pitch. So happy that things are finally looking up for him. https://t.co/lioob5Ar7Z
