Tottenham Hotspur fans react as Ryan Sessegnon wins Hoffenheim player of the month for November
Tottenham Hotspur youngster Ryan Sessegnon is enjoying an excellent spell out on loan at Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim.
As confirmed by Hoffenheim’s official site, the 20-year-old was voted as the club’s player of the month for November. Sessegnon received an overwhelming majority of 81% of the votes. In comparison, Christoph Baumgartner with 11% and Munas Dabbur with 8% were a distant second and third.
The youngster played all four of Hoffenheim’s games in November, in which he scored one goal and one assist. (h/t Transfermarkt)

The award represents an excellent reward for a player who appears to be rediscovering his best. One of the best young players in England, Sessegnon found the going tough at Spurs last season.
Injuries and a loss of form saw him struggle to cope with the demands of playing for a top English side. Now with the pressure off and time away from the limelight, he appears to be thriving once more.
Hopefully, he will return to North London as a much more confident and developed player.

He just needs confidence, I expect when he was at Spurs he was frightened to make a mistake and done everything simple.
Just needs that confidence to express himself.— COYS (@hotspurhenry) December 2, 2020
It’s honestly great to see this, he has loads of talent but the confidence just wasn’t there. Now he’s bossing it at a club where he will get constant minutes and will hopefully come back ready to show what he can do.

Is the plan that he will be as good as Reggy next summer. When Reggy goes back to Madrid and he returns to us?

Really happy he’s doing so well. Hopefully Jose still sees him as part of his plans and he can come back to us and cement himself as part of the first team.
