Teddy Sheringham advises Tottenham Hotspur to refrain from making January singings

According to Football.london, Tottenham Hotspur legend Teddy Sheringham has offered the club transfer advice ahead of the January window. Spurs are currently on the top of the English Premier League.

Sheringham believes the club should refrain from adding any players in January. Spurs invested well in the summer and brought in a number of key players.

The likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Sergio Reguilon have turned into key players while Carlos Vinicius and Gareth Bale have given us more options in the attack.

Now with the January window approaching, Mourinho will have to decide if needs to dip into the market once again. According to Sheringham, Spurs already have a strong team with enough strength in depth.

“You’re top of the league, why would you look at any other places or positions or players to come in when everybody’s performing so well.”

Sheringham appears to be hinting that the squad is as good as it can be and it will truly have to be exceptional in order to make a telling difference. The club has excellent chemistry and togetherness that was absent when Mourinho took over.
