Louis Saha tells Tottenham and Mourinho what they must do to beat Liverpool
Speaking to Genting Bet (h/t Football.london), former Tottenham Hotspur striker Louis Saha has told the team and current manager, Jose Mourinho, what they need to do to beat Liverpool on Wednesday.
Tottenham lock horns with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool later today in a huge top-of-the-table clash. We are seated at the top of the Premier League standings, with Liverpool in second, although they have the same number of points as us.
A win at Anfield, where Liverpool haven’t been beaten in a long time, would be a huge statement of intent from Mourinho and his players. And Saha, who played for Tottenham in the past, has some words of advice for the team heading into the game, stressing on the importance of consistency. (h/t Football.london)
“Mourinho won’t change for the Liverpool game – consistency is what is important. The players need to feel confident about going into the game.
“Liverpool are a tough team to beat, they press so you need to be deadly. You have two chances to score against them and when you have a player like Harry Kane, he will make sure he scores. This is the confidence that it takes to win a title.”
Under Mourinho, we have already beaten the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal already this season while also getting a point against Chelsea. A strong display at Anfield would be a major boost to our title credentials.
