Mauricio Pochettino keen to sign Tottenham ace Dele Alli at PSG
According to The Sun, former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is set to become the PSG manager and wants to sign Dele Alli in the January transfer window.
PSG sacked Thomas Tuchel from the managerial hotseat earlier this week. Since then, speculations of Pochettinho taking over at the club have only intensified. The Argentine is currently unattached having left Tottenham in November last year. Having played at PSG in the past, he is the favourite to take over the reins next.
And, it is now being claimed that Pochettino is set to raid his former employers, Tottenham, to try and sign Dele Alli in the upcoming window. (h/t The Sun)
It was Pochettino who signed Alli at Tottenham from MK Dons and oversaw his development from a youngster with potential to one of the best attacking midfielders in the country.
However, the 24-year-old has seen his form dwindle over the past year and a half, which sees him out of favour under current manager Jose Mourinho. Alli has rarely been used by the Portuguese tactician this term, leading to speculations surrounding his future.
PSG had made attempts to land Alli on loan back in the summer transfer window. And now, should Pochettino take over the mantle, will look to make a move for the former MK Dons midfielder once again.

Given Alli’s current plight, a move away from Tottenham in January seems very plausible. And, it remains to be seen whether PSG do end up making an attempt to land him next month.
