Tottenham star Harry Kane reveals dreams of playing in the NFL
Kane, an academy product of Tottenham, has grown into one of the most lethal strikers in Europe currently. The 27-year-old England captain is a fan of the NFL, having gotten hooked to the game due to Tom Brady. And, he has now claimed that, if possible, he would want to give the game a try in the latter stages of his career.
“The main one is maybe looking at the option of playing in the NFL one day. That would be a bucket list, a dream come true. There’s still a long way to go between now and that moment. But it’s something that I’ve got one eye on.
“And who knows, towards the end of my career, I might take it a little bit more seriously. See how I’d go about that. You never know.”
An admitted fan of NFL Legend Tom Brady, Kane revealed that it was a documentary on the ex-New England Patriots’ quarterback that got him interested in the game during his teens. Since then, the Tottenham ace has been supporting the Patriots, even though Brady switched to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after twenty years.

Kane also went on to reveal that he came into contact with Brady via Instagram and met him personally after attending the Super Bowl a few years ago, following which the pair struck up an instant connection.
“We both appreciate each other in the sport and I guess we have similarities in the way we are as people as well.”
It remains to be seen if Kane’ dreams of playing in the NFL come to fruition in the future. For now, he will be aiming to guide Tottenham to a trophy this season.
