Tottenham outcast Danny Rose wanted by Trabzonspor
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has emerged as a transfer target for Turkish outfit Trabzonspor in the ongoing transfer window.
The longest-serving member of the club currently, Rose has been with Tottenham since 2007. Having been a first-team regular for the part of the last decade, the Englishman has fallen out of favour ever since Jose Mourinho took over the reins.
Rose spent the second half of the last season away on loan at Newcastle United. Having returned to the club at the end of the season, the England international has been frozen out of the first-team picture by Mourinho.
Indeed, Rose has been omitted from Tottenham’s Premier League and Europa League squads. Furthermore, the 30-year-old wasn’t given a shirt number either this season. The left-back has featured just twice this season, with both of his appearances coming for the reserves in Premier League 2.
With his contract running out at the end of the season, Tottenham are believed to be open to offers for the former Leeds man this month. Now, it is being claimed that Trabzonspor are eyeing a move for the 30-year-old star in the winter transfer window. (h/t Sky Sports)
Since arriving at the club, Rose has gone on to make 214 appearances for Tottenham. The defender has scored 10 goals and assisted 29 more. (h/t Transfermarkt)

It is very clear that the 30-year-old has no part to play in Jose Mourinho’s setup. With his deal running out, the January transfer window offers Spurs the last chance to make some money from his departure. An exit this month, thus, would be the best possible solution for all parties involved.
