Tottenham target Patson Daka offered to West Ham United in £25m deal
According to the Express, RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka, who had been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, has been offered to fellow Premier League side West Ham United.
The 22-year-old started out at Zambian club Nchanga Rangers. He had spells at Green Buffaloes, Kafue Celtic and Power Dynamos FC (loan). After a six-month loan stint with Austrian outfit FC Liefering, Daka was picked up by RB Salzburg in the summer of 2017.
After a slow start to life at Salzburg, Daka burst onto the scenes in 2019/20, plundering 27 goals and 12 assists in 45 matches across all competitions for Salzburg. (h/t Transfermarkt)
Daka has once again been in scintillating form in the 2020/21 campaign for the Austrian giants. So far in the ongoing season, the Zambian forward has bagged 15 goals and 5 assists in just 17 games in all competitions.
Naturally, his progression and goal-scoring prowess at Salzburg has led to interest from a host of clubs from England. The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are said to be keen on the Zambian, as are Tottenham Hotspur. (h/t The Guardian)
However, now, the 22-year-old has been offered to West Ham United. The Hammers sold Sebastien Haller to AFC Ajax earlier this month and are in the market for a new striker. And they have been given the chance to sign Daka from Salzburg in a deal worth £25m. (h/t Express)

Considering that Carlos Vinicius at the club only on a loan deal, adding someone like Daka, who has been in top form over the past couple of seasons would have been a brilliant move. However, it seems like the Hammers could beat us, and a host of other clubs, to his transfer.
