Tottenham know transfer price for Max Aarons but Bayern Munich lead the race

A report by Sky Sports mentions that Norwich City would be looking for somewhere between £30-35m for Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Max Aarons.

Spurs have been linked with a move for the defender recently, who has been touted as a replacement for Serge Aurier. However, they are not the only club after him.

In fact, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have begun negotiating with Norwich City through an intermediary. Bayern have been scouting him for around two years and are interested in bringing him to Bavaria.

Max Aarons has also played in the Premier League for Norwich City.

The report adds that Norwich would not be in any rush to get the deal done. They are focused on getting promoted to the Premier League next season as they sit at the top of the pile in the Championship.

Aarons courted by European giants

Aarons was also linked with a move to Barcelona last summer. The move, however, collapsed and the Catalan club signed Serginio Dest instead.

Tottenham would also face competition from Manchester United. The Red Devils are said to be scouting Aarons in recent months as they look to strengthen their right-back department. (h/t Sky Sports)

Aarons getting linked to European giants only goes to showcase the 21-year-old’s talent and potential. The youngster has come through the academy at the Canaries and is a regular fixture in their starting XI.

Aarons has already appeared 31 times for the club this season and has 1 goal and 3 assists during that time. Despite the club having Serge Aurier and recent summer signing Matt Doherty, Aarons would add immense quality to the defence.
