The 28-year-old Son had to come off with an injury in Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League against Arsenal this past weekend. Speaking after the game, manager Jose Mourinho had confirmed that it was a muscular problem that could take time to heal.

However, in what will be a positive piece of news for Tottenham fans, it is said that the injury to Son is not as serious as initially feared and he should definitely be available for our first game after the international break against Newcastle United.

In fact, the report goes as far as claiming that Spurs might not have to wait for that long to see him in action as he could be fit for the game against Aston Villa at the weekend itself. However, Tottenham might not want to risk rushing him back ahead of a busy run-in period.
