Tottenham News: Harry Kane breaks silence after Arsenal, Dinamo Zagreb losses
In the latest news, Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has broken his silence after the club endured a torrid week facing losses against Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb.
Spurs were humbled by North London rivals Arsenal in the derby last weekend in the Premier League. This was followed by a shock 3-0 loss at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb which led to their elimination from the UEFA Europa League.
The defeats haven’t gone all too well with the Tottenham fans and following the results, news of manager Jose Mourinho getting the sack have already started doing the rounds.
Amidst this, star man Harry Kane has taken to Twitter to speak his mind after the disappointing results. The 27-year-old England captain posted a picture of himself looking exasperated along with the caption that read:
“Time to bounce back tomorrow after a very disappointing week. No words will atone for the last 2 games, we just have to show our response on the pitch!”
Kane himself did not have the best of games against Arsenal or Dinamo Zagreb. The England captain has been Tottenham’s go-to man this season, having plundered 26 goals and 16 assists in 39 games across all competitions. The 27-year-old was on target in the first leg against Dinamo as well, scoring both the goals as Tottenham won 2-0.
