Tottenham star Harry Kane could interest Liverpool claims Jamie Redknapp
Speaking on Sky Sports’ Pitch to Post Podcast this past weekend, former Premier League footballer turned pundit Jamie Redknapp has claimed that Liverpool could look at Tottenham star Harry Kane as a transfer target in the summer window.
Kane has been one of the best players on display in the Premier League, not only this season but for quite a few years now. However, the lack of trophies that he has won at Tottenham has led to speculations surrounding his future heading into the summer transfer window.
A number of clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona have expressed an interest in signing the England captain. (h/t Express)
Redknapp, however, is of the opinion that Liverpool could also look at the 27-year-old prolific striker as a transfer target given as Roberto Firmino hasn’t had the best of seasons.
“Harry Kane maybe might be a player who is on their radar, who knows how Liverpool might address it.”
Despite Kane’s suggestion that Liverpool could cast their eyes towards Kane, a move to Anfield would just not be possible this summer. Recent reports have made it clear that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will not entertain any offers for the striker from a direct rival in the summer. (h/t Manchester Evening News)

Kane scored a double this past weekend against Newcastle United as Tottenham were held to a 2-2 draw at St. James’ Park. With those goals, he took his tally for the season to a whopping 29 strikes.
Undoubtedly, the 27-year-old is our most important player. And the club needs to everything in its power to ensure that he does not seek a transfer away at the end of the season.
