Transfer News: Tottenham starlet Thimothee Lo-Tutala attracting interest from Europe
According to news from French outlet Foot Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur youngster Thimothee Lo-Tutala is attracting transfer interest from clubs in France and the Netherlands.
Lo-Tutala, 18, started out at the Brentford youth academy, before making the switch to Tottenham. And he has enjoyed an impressive rise through the ranks, with the young goalkeeper now the captain of Spurs Under-18 team.
The Paris-born shot-stopper has featured 22 times for the our Under-18 side so far, conceding 28 goals while keeping eight clean sheets, all of which have come in the 16 appearances in the 2020/21 campaign, when he has been the captain. (h/t Transfermarkt)
While Lo-Tutala is yet to make his debut for the first-team or even the reserves, he has been named on the bench thrice in Premier League 2 this term. The youngster is said to have been called up to train with the first-team by Jose Mourinho on occasions, as per the report. His admirers not limited to just Spurs, however, with the 18-year-old also on the radars of several clubs both in the French Ligue 1 as well as the Dutch Eredivisie. In order to stave off interest, Tottenham are said to have made a first contract offer for Lo-Tutala but he and his representatives are yet to put pen to paper over a deal as they assess their best options.
