Transfer News: Tottenham superstar Harry Kane open to Barcelona switch
According to Spanish news outlet Sport (h/t Express), Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane would be open to a transfer to La Liga giants Barcelona in the summer window.
Kane’s future at Tottenham is set to be a subject of discussion heading into the summer as he continues to get linked with a transfer away from the club after yet another unsuccessful season.
While the England captain has enjoyed another prolific campaign on a personal level, Spurs have failed to win any trophy again and are set to miss out on Champions League football for a second season in a row.
With Kane in his peak years and yet to win a single major trophy in his career, talks of a move to a club where could achieve that have been doing the rounds for a while now. And, Manchester United have been long-term admirers of the England captain and have been waiting in the wings to make a move for him, while Barcelona have also emerged as suitors for the 27-year-old.
