Man City to offer Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling to Tottenham in Harry Kane deal
According to The Sun, Manchester City are ready to offer two of their first-team regulars to Tottenham as part of a deal to secure the signing of Harry Kane in the summer.
Kane, 27, is coming on the back of one of his best seasons so far but that success hasn’t been replicated by Tottenham, who stumbled to a seventh place finish in the league. As a result, the England skipper has decided to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the upcoming transfer window in order to fulfil his ambitions of winning trophies in his career.
This has put Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea on high-alert over a potential swoop for the prolific goalscorer, although Kane himself is said to prefer a move to the Etihad Stadium. And, the Cityzens are also desperate to beat their neighbours United and the Champions League winners Chelsea to his signing. (h/t The Sun)
Manchester City to offer Sterling, Jesus in Kane deal
Manchester City lost Sergio Aguero earlier this week, with the Argentine sealing a free transfer to Barcelona after his contract ran out. The Cityzens are desperate to replace him with Kane after having lost the Champions League final in a disappointing manner.
So much so that, as per the report, the 2020/21 Premier League champions are willing to offer two top stars in Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus as part of the deal to secure Kane’s services from Tottenham.
Sterling, despite having gone through a rough patch towards the end of the season, remains a quality player with proven pedigree. And Jesus, while not exactly being a prolific goalscorer, would certainly add depth in our centre-forward department, should the club decide to accept such an offer from Pep Guardiola & co.
Such a move would help Manchester City eat into £150m price tag considerably, while providing Tottenham with two proven Premier League quality stars in exchange.

Kane has been absolutely exceptional for Tottenham over the past half a decade or so. Replacing him would, by no means, be an easy task. However, the potential arrival of Sterling and Jesus could provide some relief and added quality in the attacking department, if Kane is indeed dead set on an exit.
