Tottenham could revive interest in Paulo Dybala after Paratici appointment
According to the Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur could revive their transfer interest in Juventus and Argentina forward Paulo Dybala this summer once Fabio Paratici arrives at the club.
Tottenham may have faced disappointment in their managerial pursuit of Antonio Conte but there is some positive news though as Paratici is nailed on to become the club’s new director of football.
The 48-year-old quit his job in a similar role at Juventus at the end of the 2020/21 campaign, bringing an end to an 11-year partnership during which he helped the Bianconeri close some stunning deals like the ones for Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Matthijs de Ligt, Cristiano Ronaldo among many others.
With Paratici said to be close to taking over as the new sporting director, his appointment could help Tottenham reignite interest in long-term transfer target, Paulo Dybala. The Argentine was another of Paratici’s crown jewel signings at Juventus, as he secured La Joya’s transfer from fellow Italian club, Palermo in 2015.
Tottenham have come close to signing Dybala in the past but a move has failed to materialise. However, with the 27-year-old facing contractual issues at Juventus, an uncertain summer looms for him. And, with Paratici taking care of the transfer business at Tottenham, the Italian could help engineer a move, as per the report.

Signing someone as talented as Dybala, especially when the future of Harry Kane is in question, would be a huge coup for Tottenham. However, before delving into the transfer business, Daniel Levy and Paratici must work together to appoint a new manager at the earliest possible.
