Tottenham Transfer News: Napoli interested in Moussa Sissoko
According to transfer news from Football.london, Napoli are said to be interested in Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko. The Italian side are likely to make a move for the Frenchman in the coming days.
Sissoko signed for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2016 from Newcastle United for a then club-record transfer fee of £30m. After a difficult debut season in London, the 31-year-old grew into somewhat of a regular for the club and has, to date, made 202 appearances, scoring five goals and setting up 15 more. In the season gone by, Sissoko featured 42 times across all competitions, although he was sparingly used by interim manager Ryan Mason towards the back end of the campaign. That has led to Sissoko considering an exit from the club.
It seems that Sissoko could be offered a way out of the club by Serie A side Napoli. The report claims that Napoli are likely to move for the midfielder ‘in the coming days’. The Partenopei recently underwent a managerial change with Luciano Spaletti replacing Gennaro Gattuso.

Sissoko still has two years left on his contract with Tottenham. While not really an undroppable asset, the Frenchman does add value with his experience and work-rate. Whether he stays at the club beyond the summer remains to be seen. However, if a decent fee can be recouped from Napoli’s interest, Spurs should not hesitate.
