Transfer News: Tottenham can sign Anthony Martial on loan

According to transfer news from Express, Tottenham may have been given the all-clear to sign Anthony Martial on loan. Manchester United are open to letting the striker leave on loan after completing a deal for Jadon Sancho.

Spurs finally appointed Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager. Before his appointment, it was almost shambolic about how the club searched for a manager. Two potential deals with Antonio Conte and Paulo Fonseca collapsed after heading right to the end zone.

Nonetheless, with a new manager now appointed, managing director Fabio Paratici can soon deliver on his first signing to Nuno. Spurs have been linked with a move for Anthony Martial. It is now understood that the 25-year-old striker will be allowed to leave on loan by Manchester United.

Martial did not enjoy the best of seasons last time around as he struggled with form and injuries. He produced a tally of seven goals and nine assists from 36 games across all competitions.

However, he could come in as a replacement for Harry Kane who could yet move to either of the Manchester clubs. Plus with Gareth Bale leaving, it makes sense to go after another attacker.

Gary Neville wants Manchester United to offer Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, and Daniel James for Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.

The Frenchman may not be the most consistent of options for Spurs but he is one that they can get at a bargain. Manchester United are open to letting him leave on loan and Spurs could take advantage of the same. After all, it would be a loan deal and there would not be much to lose.
