Tottenham Hotspur to go head to head against Premier League clubs for Dejan Kulusevski
According to Tutto Juve (h/t Mirror), Juventus’ Dejan Kulusevski is a target for Tottenham Hotspur. The report also adds the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool as potential buyers. However, it goes on to suggest that Juventus are keen on keeping Kulusevski.
With his contract not expiring until 2025, the Old Lady would hold all the cards in any potential negotiations.
Juventus signed Kulsevski in January 2020. However, he was sent back to Parma for the rest of the campaign. He finished that campaign with ten goals and nine assists and left a good impression.
The player often found himself on the Juventus bench last season. Having played 1.918‘ minutes, he scored 4 goals and 3 assists for the Old Lady.
Kulusevski was also a part of Italy’s UEFA Euro 2020 winning squad, which they won by beating England on penalties in the final.
Tottenham need Kulusevski
Tottenham have a space opening up on the right-wing. Gareth Bale was seen in that position for the Lilywhites last summer. However, the player has returned to Real Madrid.
Steven Bergwijn can play on both wings for Spurs while Lucas Moura has found himself in and out of the team. The Brazilian has proved to be inconsistent throughout his Tottenham career as he has failed to pin down a regular starting position for himself at N17.
The club did sign Bryan Gil, but Erik Lamela was sent to Sevilla as part of the deal which means the club didn’t really add any extra personnel in that position.

Dejan Kulusevski, in this case, could prove to be a useful signing for Nuno Espirito Santo. The player can offer Santo an exciting option to bring on in games and can compete for starts straightaway.
At 21, he can be a long-term asset if signed, although, Spurs should speed up their pursuit if they really want him at the club this summer.
