First professional contracts for three Tottenham Hotspur Academy players
Tottenham Hotspur, via Twitter, have announced that three academy products have signed their professional contracts. Kallum Cesay, Kacper Kurylowicz and Rafferty Pedder have signed their first or deals with the club. All three players’ contracts run until 2022.
On Kallum Cesay, Kacper Kurylowicz and Rafferty Pedder
Kallum Cesay is an 18-year-old right-back. Prior to Spurs, the player was a part of West Ham’s youth team. In 2019, he was transferred to Spurs U18 from Tottenham’s youth setup. During the 19/20 season, he made 11 appearances in the U18 Premier League.
In the following year, he made 16 appearances in the U18 Premier League scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists.
The official statement by Tottenham suggests that apart from right-back, Cesay has also impressed playing at central midfield. The player has made one appearance for the club’s U23. He was a substitute in Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League 2.
Cesay will be moving up to the under-23 squad full-time in a contract that runs until next summer.
Kacper Kurylowicz is a 19-year-old goalkeeper who has gradually made his way to the reserve squad from the youth setup. The Polish international made 13 appearances for the club in the U18 PL. He was promoted to the U23s in 2020.
Going via the club statement Kurylowicz made two appearances for the Under-23s as a third-year scholar. The player will now enter his second full season with Tottenham’s U-23s.

Rafferty Pedder is a 19-year-old midfielder. The player has made 22 appearances for Tottenham in the U18 Premier League, scoring one goal.
The club promoted Pedder to the Under-23s last season. in 20/21 he made nine appearances in the Premier League 2 as a third-year scholar.
