Transfer News: Tottenham line up moves for two more Serie A players
According to transfer news from Express, Tottenham will continue their raid of Serie A with pursuits for Takehiro Tomiyasu and Dusan Vlahovic. Spurs recently managed to agree on a deal for Christian Romero but their transfer business is not quite done for now.
The 21-year-old Vlahovic has had a breakthrough season in Serie A, scoring 21 goals in 37 games. The Serbian forward is valued at over £40m by the Italian side. It would seem that a deal for Vlahovic is being worked on to convince Harry Kane to remain at the club. An opening bid will be made once funds are available after player sales.
Tomiyasu is probably a name Spurs have been after for a while now. Spurs were understood to be close to a deal but it had to be held up as the player was scheduled to participate in the Olympics with Japan. There is optimism that this deal will go through once the player returns from international duty.
Tottenham are looking to take advantage of the expertise Fabio Paratici has in Serie A and get players from there. They have already signed Pierluigi Gollini and agreed on a deal for Christian Romero, both players from Atalanta. Now, Fiorentina and Bologna are set to be their next destinations.
