Transfer News: Tottenham plan two more deals after Christian Romero agreement
According to transfer news from Football.london, Tottenham are already working on two more deals after an agreement was reached for Christian Romero. The club are planning to sell Ben Davies and want to sign the highly-rated Mikkel Damsgaard.
It’s rather surprising that Ben Davies has been linked with a move away from the club. The experienced Welsh left-back was trusted to play his role. In the few matches that Spurs did play well last season, Davies was a part of the side. He featured in 35 games last season, pushing Reguilon down the pecking order.
Mikkel Damsgaard is perhaps a name most have heard by now. The Dane lit up the Euros with his performances and since then, he has been hot property. He had joined Sampdoria only recently in January but has been linked with a move away already on the back of his displays for club and country.
Reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Davies could indeed leave the club as Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon are already there to chip in. As for Damsgaard, it would seem that Spurs are interested but a move might not take place until late in the transfer window.
