Transfer News: Tottenham identify three more signings after Cristian Romero deal
According to transfer news from Sky Sports (h/t Express), Tottenham have already identified the next three names they want to sign after the signing of Cristian Romero. Spurs want to sign another defender, a creative midfielder and a striker. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Dusan Vlahovic seem to be two names that are clear. However, the creative midfielder is not known.
Spurs have been quiet and effective over the transfer window. They have not spent on unnecessary players. A deal for Bryan Gil was agreed that saw Erik Lamela head the other way. Pierluigi Gollini was tagged to replace Joe Hart. Cristian Romero has now been signed as a replacement for Toby Alderweireld.
However, the business is now going to wrap up there. Another three signings are being lined up as Spurs want a defender, creative midfielder and striker. For defence, it is Takehiro Tomiyasu who has been on the radar for a while. However, international commitments have held up the deal.
In terms of a striker, Dusan Vlahovic’s name has been doing the rounds. Spurs will likely ramp up efforts to sign him and play him alongside Kane instead of in his place. Lastly, the creative midfielder is not known as to who Fabio Paratici is after. For now, it would seem that the likes of Lorenzo Pellegrini, Mikkel Damsgaard and Houssem Aouar are the names being linked.

If Spurs manage to get even one or two more names, it can be termed as a fine window. Fabio Paratici has so far done a solid job with the transfers and he still has until the end of this month to get some more names.
