AC Milan enter the race for Tottenham target Yacine Adli
According to The Sun (h/t Football.london), AC Milan have entered the race for Tottenham target Yacine Adli. They are said to have already submitted a £10million bid for the Bordeaux starlet. However, the club are holding out for a better offer. Arsenal and Lille are also said to be after him.
The 21-year-old Adli plies his trade with Ligue 1 side, Bordeaux, following his move in January 2019 from French giants PSG. In 35 games for Bordeaux in the league last season, Adli managed two goals and five assists, giving a fair glimpse of his attacking abilities.
The young midfielder is also a member of France’s Under-20 side and has so far featured five times for them across all competitions. He is a versatile customer with the ability to play in a variety of midfield positions and on the wing as well. So far, he has made 69 appearances for Bordeaux scoring five and assisting eight goals.
Hence, it is not the least bit surprising that so many clubs including Spurs have taken an interest in Adli. However, AC Milan are trying to step up their efforts and have already sent a £10million offer. Arsenal are also said to be very keen on him much like Lille.

Spurs’ central midfield looks well-stocked for the time being. Adli is definitely a talented player to have in the side. But it could be a waste of time to go into a bidding war with so many clubs vying for his signing. This is one of those deals Tottenham can afford to pass up on.
