Harry Kane unhappy with Tottenham as transfer saga rolls on
According to The Sun (h/t Express), Harry Kane is said to be unhappy with his situation at Tottenham. The striker was keen on a move to Manchester City ahead of the new season but still remains a Spurs player. The opening game of the season is just a few days away and that too against City.
For all the doom and gloom of last season, this new one seemed to come with some sort of hope that things could be turned around. After all, Fabio Paratici’s arrival signalled that now Spurs would be better equipped in the transfer market. That has proved true so far with three signings already in the bag.
However, a rather Harry Kane sized problem remains at the club. The player had made it clear that he wants to leave the club. The striker has trained by himself so far having been quarantined, but will be expected to link up with the whole squad soon.
Manchester City have been after Kane through the summer and even had a £100million offer turned down.
Daniel Levy is adamant that he will not let Kane go unless it is an offer of around £160million. Despite Kane’s wishes of leaving, manager Nuno Espirito Santo has planned to include him in the season opener against City. Kane is said to be unhappy over the decision and was hoping to be excluded from the game.

It’s really hard to say where the ball will roll on this one. Kane wants to leave but cannot unless a record sum is stumped up towards Spurs. It’s simple yet complicated. For now, it’s not really in Kane’s hands and if he is selected, he will have to play. Spurs will also be keeping a close eye on what is to happen in the following days.
