Transfer News: Tottenham in a three-way battle for Noni Madueke
According to transfer news from Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur are in a three-way battle for Noni Madueke. Leicester City and Wolves are the other two Premier League clubs after the PSV forward. However, his £30m-£34m valuation could be offputting to some.
If Spurs needed a gauge as to whether they need some more reinforcements in attack, the loss against Pacos de Ferreira provided them with that. Granted it was a heavily rotated side but it was somewhat expected that an experienced side like Spurs would put them to the sword.
It has posed the question as to who Spurs can rely on apart from their first choice names such as Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura.
It seems the answer they want is at PSV and they know all about him. Noni Madueke was a youth product of Spurs but moved abroad and developed his game further. He has done exactly the same at PSV with his knack for getting the goals. Now, it would seem Spurs are not the only club after him.
Wolves and Leicester have also expressed interest but his valuation of £30m-£34m is said to be too steep. There are more scouts from clubs such as Juventus keeping an eye on him recently. Comparisons to Jadon Sancho would have only fuelled more and more teams to take interest. PSV, on the other hand, want to keep him and renew his deal.

It would be quite the homecoming if Spurs went ahead and brought Madueke back. He is a much more well rounded forward now and can be a good addition to the side. However, work seems to be cut out here as a host of clubs are after him, in addition to his price tag.
