Tottenham could turn to Adama Traore after Noni Madueke setback
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham could now turn their attention to Adama Traore after the setback with Noni Madueke. The PSV starlet has signed a new deal with the club which could force Spurs to look at Adama as the priority signing.
Looking at the wingers at Spurs’ disposal, not many are on the elite level. Apart from Son Heung-Min and Lucas Moura, the rest leave a lot to be desired. Sure, the addition of Bryan Gil is an exciting one, but it should not be forgotten that he is just 19 and has just moved to a different league. That being said, adding another wide player wouldn’t go amiss for Spurs.

Noni Madueke is a name they had been after. They have known him from the academy days that he spent at Spurs. He has lit up spectacularly with his performances over the last few seasons. However, Spurs might have to walk away empty-handed despite the interest in bringing him back. (h/t The Sun)
Madueke has signed a new contract keeping him at the club till 2025, effectively ruling out any move over this summer at least. That has made Adama Traore a priority deal for Spurs as they look to add another new winger to the side which is proving more challenging by the day.

Traore is experienced in the Premier League and has the knowledge of working under Nuno Espirito Santo. It may just be a good combination to go for Spurs. Madueke was a younger option but Traore can be the one to get into the side with ease and start firing from the off.
